More Saddle Information on Timber Ridge Saddlery Saddles!
All our saddles are custom and hand-made in the United States of the best American Cowhide we can find. The leather we use is strong, heavy and flexible. You will not see any two saddles exactly alike, as each is an original crafted by our saddlemakers.
Styles available:Mule, Gaited, Draft, Friesian, Wade, Western Pleasure, Barrel, A-Fork/Slick Fork, Youth, Show, Endurance, Cutting, Reining, Roping, Lightweight Corduras and Close Contact saddles.
Polymer, Fiberglass Covered Wood and Bullhide Covered Wood Trees are guaranteed 5 years. 100% Flex Trees are guaranteed 10 years.
ANY of the saddle styles shown can be built in your choice of leather type and color. We have 5 standard leather colors and 4 upgraded soft leather colors. See our FAQ's pagefor more information about the differences between these two leathers. See below for colors
If the saddle comes with a padded seat - you have a choice of slick or suede seat covering. The slick seat leather comes in dark brown or black. The suede seats come in several colors. We also have ostrich seats available in several colors. See colors below.

On the all leather saddles, there are 3 choices for underside paddingfor your saddle. Most saddles are priced with a grey felt underside padding unless the description states otherwise. We also have a mock wool fleece and real wool fleece available. See our FAQ's for more information. If you measure the thickness of the felt at the edge of the skirts, it may measure less than 3/8” as the machine stitching compresses the thickness of the felt at the edges, but it is 3/8" thick. The grade of felt is the best available and very durable. There is also an upgrade to mid-range fleece (also called mock wool fleece as it looks and feels like real fleece) or an upgrade to genuine sheep's fleece with the leather backing.
Our standard seat sizes range from 13" to 17". Select models available 18" to 22" seat.
We have several options available to make your saddle your own - add white rawhide accents, Montana silver accents, roughout, rig with extra rings or strings, etc.
WE CAN ALSO BUILD ANY PLEASURE TYPE SADDLE (INCLUDING DRAFT, GAITED, FRIESIAN AND MULE) WITH NO HORN - ENDURANCE STYLE. This excludes the slick fork type saddles ( A fork and Wade ).
